Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing

The Higher National Diploma in Computing at ANC Education is designed to give students the edge to succeed in a competitive marketplace. This program incorporates subject-specific modules based on generic computing theories, and reflects modern computing industry practices and academic developments.

BTEC Higher Nationals are accredited to the Ofqual Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). They are also mapped against the QAA Framework for Higher Education Qualifications and Subject Sector Benchmarks. The BTEC Higher Nationals offer a progression route to the final year of an honors degree at most UK Universities.

Entry Requirements

• GCE A-Levels 2 Passes (Year 1) and Minimum 5 “C” passes
• English language requirement – Minimum of a credit pass; ‘C’, for English at GCE O/L, London Examination or IELTS minimum overall band score of 5.0 (overall) and Mathematics requirement – Minimum of an ordinary pass ‘S’(GCE), ‘E’(London), for Mathematics at O/L, Examination.

Or

• Recognized Diploma in a related field or equivalent qualification
• ANC Foundation Program
• Any RQF Level 3 equal Certifications or Diploma qualification.

Adult entry

• Age limit 21 and 1year or More work experience. with Minimum 6 “C” passes in GCE O/Level or 5 “C” in London O/Level.
• English language requirement – Minimum of a credit pass; ‘C’, for English at GCE O/L, London Examination or IELTS minimum overall band score of 5.0 (overall) and Mathematics requirement – Minimum of an ordinary pass ‘S’(GCE), ‘E’(London), for Mathematics at O/L, Examination.
