This ensures that every graduate enter the workforce well rounded and able to write as well as they can do numbers and analyze data.
Psychology students are given the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a clinical setting through supervised internships within a mental health service. They gain experience, reflect on what they have learned, and apply new knowledge and skills during the internship period. Along the way, faculty advisors work closely with them and provide feedback to help them identify opportunities for further growth. “After completing my London ALs at Colombo International School, I had to choose between going to the US for my higher education and completing my bachelor’s degree in Psychology here at ANC. I opted for the latter not only because my sister had already joined ANC, ANC also had an impressive track record of producing hundreds of psychology graduates in collaboration with top universities of the US. Our program is a combination of traditional face-to-face approach and tech-powered e-learning (blended learning). This enabled constant interaction with SUNY professors, and it has a lot of flexibility in terms of access to learning materials and instruction. After all, ANC faculty is always there to ensure that we all stay focused throughout. I’m graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors this year. I couldn’t have asked for more.”
